    Cheers windude99,
It more then gets it done !
Honestly, my 7 year old Dell is still a great pc with Windows 7. I still use it to surf the web and check email sometimes. Especially if I can't be in my bedroom where my primary PCs are, because the dell is in the oposite side of the house. I bet your girlfriend is happy to know she can boot your pc up and she can run the programs that she can't use on Windows 7

I modified my Coolermaster laptop cooler with some cold cathodes. I also changed out the USB fans that it came with with a pair of Scythe fans. I used and old 12V transformer to wire the fans and a fan controller so I can adjust the speed.

Just a little old, but you are awesome if you have a Hyper 212 :P. Since I got mine I'm surprised by how many people use it, it is indeed quite popular, and incredibly nice for the price too . I am very pleased with the performance I have got from it, a very nice improvement from the stock cooler. I will admit though, my build wasn't made for a tower cooler :P My vengeance ram is too high for the intake fan to intake from the front, where all my intake fans are. Right now it is fighting against my rear exhaust. I also feel the tower subtracts from the clean look I am aiming for. Come my birthday in September I hope to gather the necessary funds for a corsair hydro cooler (Corsair rocks :P).

Corsair Hydro coolers are great, and you're right, they make the motherboard look clean.

By the sounds of it, you have put the fan on your 212 on the other side of the cooler, away from the ram? would you not be better then, although still not ideal to turn the fan around so it is pulling air through the cooler and then out the exhaust, as you say to stop it fighting the exhaust?

Here's my baby. Currently @4.5ghz temps max at 66degrees Celsius with Prime95 running for 24hrs. I'm going to call it done. Next build to come later this year, a 2011 based system.
