It's the full blown unadulterated Windows 7 professional 64bit DVD .
Legit
Okay well it couldn't be that then.. Have you tried reseating your heatsink on your processor with new thermal paste? Someone above stated it could be an air bubble which would actually make sense.

Memtest?
After a failed install I boot back to the ssd and I am give the 2 choices, windows setup or something and the memory diagnostic, if that's the 1 you mean, all good with 5 passes

Deception... Sorry for this, I really am....
I have read the thread and 100 other threads like this, please stop restating what has been said within this thread, what you are posting is just regurgitation and is not a form of help, oh this thread is NOT solved and Is from the start of the year, so I've come to THIS thread for NEW advice, as in stuff that is not posted.

Thanks Solarstarshines, I'll try going through the dimm slots with 1 stick at a time, but I think it could just be a dud MB, I keep reading the sata controllers on asus MBs are not reliable and that would be consistent with my problem. Thanks again ( no not you deception )

No reason for you to act like this. Sorry for trying to help quickly. Next time make your own thread for your own issue so we as a forum know what you have and haven't tried.
