The 2700 is a sweet CPU. But just as a FYI...

Do not expect it to OC any better than a 2500 or 2600. The top end still has its wall.

The best Ive been able to do with mine was a x52 (5.2Ghz) with Hyperthread OFF, and it was very unstable.
Couldn't even get CPUz open without BSOD. Could have probably tweaked for more stability was was already a touch over 1.4vcore which was my personal limit.
I do think if I was willing to push betweeen 1.45 and 1.5 I may have got a fairly stable 5.2 OC, but thats way too much IMHO.

I would say a realistic stable OC is somewhere between 4.8 to 5.0, but thats pushing it a bit too. Also, its the same as a good 2600 or 2500 can do so its not all that special in that regard.
But youll have a bit better chance to hit those OCs with the 2700. Just not a guarantee.

All Im saying is do not expect it to be leaps and bounds better than a 2600K.

It may however, run at 4.5 or so OC with less than the average vcore required stable. This IMO, is more what to expect.

I have one of these
Newegg.com - ZALMAN CNPS9900ALED 120mm 2 Ball Low-noise Blue LED CPU Cooler
it's incredibly effective you MUST use the thermal compound they provide though, don't use your own or the performance will suck.
Outside of that little hitch it's been really good
Final warning about it, is that you will more than likely cut yourself while installing it.

...which just makes it that much more awesome and hardcore.

I saw that one Saviour I just don't like the large round exposed fins. I think they would be easier to bend than a rectangular radiator.

Keep in mind my option is not only a 2 bearing fan it's also enclosed INSIDE the heatsink.
