Hell of a build except the socket which has been pointed out but other then this the ram the Gpu are excellent choices i use corsair vengeance ram and it speaks for itself
I also should add instead of the 7970 why not get a 6970 cost a little less and still will out perform a gtx 580 or even the 6990 4 gb will still kill and it is round the same price as the 7970
A PCIe 3.0 motherboard for PCIe 3.0 GPU
Z68 Motherboard Series Manufacturing - ASRock Inc.
Unfortunately we can buy only from here http://www.singular.com.cy/
Newegg.com - Thermaltake Chaser MK-I (VN300M1W2N) Black SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Read the feedback on the case since it has bottom psu location your power supply cables might not be able to reach, if you use the routing holes
Newegg.com - CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX850 (CMPSU-850AX) 850W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply Read the one egg reviews: one complains that the cables can't reach the top drives
If you max out the ram you can use the extra as a ram drive RAMDisk - Software - Server Memory Products & Services - Dataram
Rest looks good:)
Or you can wait like 3 weeks for the nvidia 6 series to suddenly appear on the market with like no warning.
At which time you'll suddenly be wishing you had just waited.
To be perfectly honest owning the gtx580 myself, I've gotten endless fun out of it, and I can't stump it.
I have actually tried. As long as I keep it to one monitor @1080p the card can not be stopped. The new ATI card is a tad faster, but I also know beyond a doubt, now that I've gotten the best nvidia card, it will be replaced very shortly and without notice. Same thing happened when I got my 8800gtx's
They were only awesome for about a month
That site setup is just this side of awful, but found this Motherboards :: Intel 1155 :: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 - Motherboard - ATX - LGA1155 Socket - Z68 - USB 3.0 - onboard graphics (CPU required) - Singular eshop cyprus
This will give you the option to add a extra 7970 when one is too slow PCI express 3.0
I have the extreme 4 gen 3, I highly recommend it, it embodied plug and play this is not only the fastest machine I've ever made it was also among the easiest in initial setup. I actually switched to Asrock this buy after having a lot of trouble with ASUS admitting their board had failed on me previously. I'm very happy with the switch.
