    Ouch, that is scorching!
Definitely not a 24/7 setup all right

(Still good for conversion tests though - I grabbed a 'real world temp' screenie of it at 5.2ghz and a CPU-Z validation for the heck of it :) )

Is TjMax really 98C for that 2500K? It would help to grab some screens of the UEFI settings.

    Thank you sir :)

Unfortunately I hit a wall @ 5.3ghz. It lasted long enough to grab this screenie:

    x124 seconds into P95

    And it simply won't boot @ 5.4

(It was getting close to suicide volts)

Yep. I'd take some shots if I could find my camera

I think I'll stick for a 24/7 of 4.7ghz for now and concentrate on lowering RAM volts.

Ahh, I assumed your UEFI had the option of taking a shot. The one on my (twice RMAed) ASRock board does but saves it to an attached USB stick.
2GHz over stock ain't bad at all.

Tbh, I haven't looked that hard. I might take a closer next time.

Certainly can't complain about a 'free' extra 2ghz

I believe yours will. I know someone with an Asus 1155 UEFI and mine does too, I put a USB in and press F12 and it will put a screenshot of the bios page I am on in the USB. It can come in handy for overclocking or sharing your bios settings with someone else.

Cool Patrick. Check, it may have to be in FAT32 format, don't remember.
