Did you bump the IMC voltage?
Should be at 1.15v or a little more.
    I dont think I did.

Also I posted some pics of my setup.

The Integrated Memory Controller voltage is VTTCPU in your BIOS.

    Extreme Tweaker: VTTCPU voltage
Default is 1.10v bump it to 1.15v.
This will help stabilize the RAM.

    @ 4.3, not Turbo, offset -0.55
this IBT run completed fine, went to bed and let it run, max temp 68. Not that IBT recognizes the CPU as "i5-2600K", which doesn't exist.

those i7's get some good results dont they
im just oc'ing my fx 6100 now. i know they can go 4,6/4.9 but i dont plan on aiming near those numbers. i'll be happy around 4.0 which seems easy enough. im just upping the multiplier at the moment and am @ x19 with 1.32v on the vcore. havent touched anything else as yet n will see how far it goes on this voltage. @stock with all on auto with the apm and c6 enabled more voltage than is needed is apllied as ive seen it hit 1.4v when it clocks up to 3.6GHz.
ive been running cinebench at each step just for a quick check but will run linX to test for full stability when im done.
anybody have any suggestions on settings i may not know? i havent touched the cpu/nb yet. im only running 1600 mem so will prob be best set @2.2 do u think?
remember im still a novice/noob when it comes to oc but im getting there slowly

EDIT: 4.013 @1.32v, cpu/nb @2200 which is the better program for testing stabilty on these fx cpu's? intel burn test, linX? or does it really not matter?
    cheers folks

Looking good ganjiry! I have an i5-2550K, core temp is stupid.IBT, Prime96 will work fine for testing. I think you'd be fine with your Vcore at 1.4V and CPU/NB volts at 1.4

    Thanks Steve and Paul.

I keep trying to push my 965 a little harder but it seems it's happiest pushed max to 4.1 and when I get the summer heat I'll have to back off to 4.0. Anyone out there with the same chip have a voltage recommendation, I'm all ears !
