Where the heck do I stick the power supply in this thing?

Newegg.ca - LIAN LI Black Aluminum PC-Q05B Mini ITX Media Center / HTPC Case
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A2L5OB1K1CPLJP

I'll admit I've never worked on a Mini ITX board but whenever I look into what I would need to build one, I can never figure out where the Power supply goes.

I've been looking at some PSUs but I caanot see any holes or anything where the power would be connected to the case.

Help? thanks.

Go here and download the manual.

Wesena Mini ITX2 Case > ITX Series > Wesena UK

You have to use a DC-DC power supply - basically a DC board that supplies all of the power for the mini-itx board, hard drive, and slot load DVD/BD drive. The small round hole is where the brick power plug will go.

ah. I'm mostly looking for the Li (as I think it looks a bit nicer. But I can't find the hole anywhere on it:
Newegg.ca - LIAN LI Silver Aluminum PC-Q05A Mini ITX Media Center / HTPC Case
I found the manual (which is in a .rar file with other langueges), and it doesn't mention where the PSU hole is.

I did find this PSU though, which should theoretically handle an i3-2105, SSD, and HDD fine.

It does suck that Newegg has a bunch of cases that require pico PSUs, but then only offers only one, that isn't really powerful enough for my needs (estimated 150w max needed)

Ah, I didn't look at that model. It looks like the motherboard in there is a DC-DC powered one, where you connect a brick to the motherboard directly, and then you connect a molex from the motherboard to the hard drive/optical drive. I have an Intel mini-itx board (d945gsejt) that's powered the same way - the connector is on the motherboard itself.

Take a look at this:

You are limited with the type of motherboard you can put into that case.
