New Build PC, USB Ports Not Installing Correctly.

    Hi All.

    Strange one if I may.

This is not the system in my specs !
I have just built a new HTPC.
I have used a Zotac NM10-ITX motherboard, with 2GB ram, and booting from a Corsair 30GB SSD, and running on Win7 Professional.
It has a 1TB Hitachi Sata2 data drive.

System is all running, and I thought ok.
Until I went to transfer some more data onto the second drive.
It appears my USB ports are running at USB1 speed !
I get the pop up reporting the connected device can run faster.

I installed all the drivers from the install CD that came with the mobo, and have since deleted the drivers in hardware manager, and allowed windows to install again.

What more can I do to get these ports running at USB2 speed ?

I'm completely confused by this, and any assistance would be gratefully received.

Uninstall all of your USB drivers and reboot.

Thanks for the quick reply, panic over !

I cleared the cmos by mistake after the jumper fell off turning the case over to do it up

It seems I did not set everything correctly again, and the USB2 controller was set to disable in the Bios.

    My bad, sorry guys
