    Will this build work?


    Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew if these parts will work together I got this from duncan33303's video

    Intel Core i7-3930K CPU: link

    Corsair H80 CPU Cooler: link

    Asus P9X79 Pro Motherboard: link

    Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7970 OC GPU x2: link

    Patriot Gamer 2 Series Division 4 Edition 32GB RAM: link

    Samsung 830 Series 128GB SSD: link

    Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB HDD X2 : link

    Corsair HX1050 Power Supply: link

    That appears to be a first class and may I say one kick ass rig you're about the build. I would visit Asus's site and dbl. check that the ram is on the approved and tested list. I would suggest G-Skill ram or Corsair's new line of Dominator.

    If you mean will it start up if the parts are not defective and you assemble it correctly, I'd say yes.

    But I'm guessing you mean something other than "if this build would work".

    It may be a completely ridiculous set of parts, depending on your intended use and budget.

    Yes likely to both but IMHO do you really need or want to drop 1k+ on a CPU? What a waste of resources unless you are going to make some money doing something faster then others on it?

    Yeah, I thought the 3960K would be around $700 not $1000 but since it's so much more and not really worth it I'm probably going to get the 3930K.
