Will this build work?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew if these parts will work together I got this from duncan33303's video

Intel Core i7-3930K CPU: link

That appears to be a first class and may I say one kick ass rig you're about the build. I would visit Asus's site and dbl. check that the ram is on the approved and tested list. I would suggest G-Skill ram or Corsair's new line of Dominator.

Will it work?

If you mean will it start up if the parts are not defective and you assemble it correctly, I'd say yes.

But I'm guessing you mean something other than "if this build would work".

It may be a completely ridiculous set of parts, depending on your intended use and budget.

Yes likely to both but IMHO do you really need or want to drop 1k+ on a CPU? What a waste of resources unless you are going to make some money doing something faster then others on it?

Yeah, I thought the 3960K would be around $700 not $1000 but since it's so much more and not really worth it I'm probably going to get the 3930K.

Xonar will not work in new build
I don't know where my last thread went with this but my Xonar DG sound card will not work in the Asus p8Z77-V board. I have tried setting the BIOS updating the BIOS the chipset the whatever and I have even heard back - eventually form Asus in Taiwan to try putting in the new BIOS etc etc etc. ...

7100 build, can't get games to work
I have the next setup: Nehalem 920 Asus Xonar D2 6 Gb of O>C Gold edition P6T deluxe V2 Sapphire ATI 4870 X2 etc.. My problem is that I can't get certain games to work. Flatout works fine, so does GRID, The Witcher, Nation red, Bioshock and assassin creed.
