I have to admit I have a HDD and SSD addiction and I've taken the first step by acknowledging I have a problem and the next will be a 12 step program!

You may need the 12 step Crossfire program.

Alan, you don't have an SSD problem. Unless you own more than 8, you don't have a problem.

    See.....I'm not alone !
Ever since beginning the transition of all my music to lossless and then start on my 2500 lp's so far all my cd's take just over 825gb's and I see that easily doubling or more.

Alan, you can't possibly listen to that much music. Play each song back to back 24/7 and it would take you the next 30 years to listen to them all.

It's funny to have that much music and long to have my turntable set back up again and listen to it's splendor, it's one area that digital has failed to excel, short of accessibility and portability. I have three friends entire LP collections as well as my huge one waiting for me to set up my Mitsubishi LT30 and begin the long real time ripping process to digital to archive. I may use my Sota sapphire but change out the Grado wood body for a more stout Shure cartridge.
