I remember getting my first computer. A Commodore64. I thought I was big time then. An Iphone will do more now. And there was no internet so not much you could do with one.

I don't know about an iphone, I think even a cheap £20 phone will do more now! It's insane how fast and far things have come along now.

Finally got my new computer hooked up and finished today :)

Played with it a little, not used to intel anymore.

    Here are my results:

It's hard, getting used to intel again. I've had AMD for a few years, forget how intel works. This processor (i7 3770K) is unlocked, but with this motherboard (sabertooth Z77) i can't put multiplier past 36 and the turbo sets itself to enable, and it's not an option to turn it off.
i have changes made in the bios, but they're not showing when i start windows with cpu-id

In bios set AI overclock Tuner to Manual, Turbo ratio to manual and ratio synchronizing control to enabled (to set multiplier to all cores). You will have to set ram frequency, timings and voltage by hand. Leave Bclk/PEG to 100.00. You overclock these with the multiplier.

Thanks, but I think I already have those things done. There's a place where I can change the multiplier other than the first page. I set it to, say, 48, but when I boot comp it shows 46

This is what I am doing. I setup the bios with 48, when I go to the desktop and run cpu-id, it shows 46
