I went to 6 different shops before I found this beauty, last one on the shelf too.. Even got a discount because it was an opened demo model. Hehe...

For the record, that's not actually my wallpaper. I had NFS The Run open when I took that pic, that's the race map from the loading screens. Although, it probably would make for an awesome wallpaper.

Zalith that is a really nice monitor. Going from a 19" to 24-25" is a big jump, I did the same 3 years ago.
What is this beside the mouse?

Thanks you guys, the amount of desktop space is simply awesome. I think I got it at the perfect time too, just watched the first episode of Game of Thrones season 3 on it..... Suffice to say I'm sold on big monitors permanently now, I'll never go back to a small one without a fight.

That's the volume controller for my speakers. Nothing too fancy though, just a Creative Labs 2.1 channel system.. The black box behind my case (with the orange and red space cases on top) is the sub, facing the corner of my room to the left.

Hey Guys and Girls, it's been a while...

    I've just finished building myself a new 2011 rig, thought I might share;

    The Specs:
    Core i7 3930K,
    ASUS Rampage 4 Extreme,
Corsair Dominator DDR3 8GB (times two, taking the total to 16GB),
    EVGA GTX 680,
    Western Digital 1tb Caviar Blue,
    Poineer 8x Blu-Ray/DVD+-RW,
    Coolermaster 1050w Silent Pro Hybrid,
    Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo,
    Coolermaster Cosmos II,
    CM Storm Sentinel advance II
    Logitech G510,
LG Flatron E2351, Windows 7 Pro
and re-using my Hyundai speakers and Razer Carcharias Head set from my old rig... untill my saving have recovered...

    The Pics:
    All the loot

    The Case

The PSU. It's even fully modular!

    The Board

    In it's new home

I'm not gonna count them all, I'll just trust ASUS that there's 2011 of them...

    16GB of awesome

    The 6 core processor

And next to my old Q9550

The Cosmos II seems to be a LOT bigger than I first thought...

then the nightmare begins... transferring data (and trying to organize it in the process)
