I don't think that Green is good choise on rig like that. Blue is one golden middle...

Yea, they are nice to have to pull out from under the desk, etc. The previous case had black plastic wheels but I like these chrome wheels a lot better; gives it a classy look and they're offset by the black case.

I think it depends upon your use; for a main drive yea I wouldn't want a Green. I have a couple of Greens in this rig for archival of MP3s and videos. They don't get accessed often so I didn't really care about optimum performance, although I admit I was disappointed that MicroCenter was out of both Blue and Black when I bought these. Very low stock day when I was there I guess.

Don't the WD Green drives power off on their own?

The Green drives do park the heads and shutdown some of the electronics after about eight seconds of not being used. The spindle speeds are a lot slower (approx. 5400) as well so I wouldn't want one as a main drive.

So, I was dusting my PC yesterday and remembered that a few days ago someone posted a "often ignored wiring side of the case" pic...

    Here's mine

That's an excellent wiring job Punkster! Very neatly done.

The motherboard tray in your system has a lot of access holes, something I'm going to add to mine by making some cutouts when I rebuild it which should help make cable management easier next time.

    Very neat Punkster!

You may want to see if you can straighten the orange cable here, if it is a SATA cable. Such sharp bends can cause the conductors in them to break. A "U" bend like the black ones are fine.
    Good Job.
