I didn't realize how much space I had until I went to gently slide the panel back on and realized I was a mile away from touching any of the cables! There is a full inch and a half or better from the tray to the edge of the lip, and the panel has a bulge over that entire area!

Mine has about half that. Still plenty of space to do a decent wiring job, but not as much as that. Mine have to be spread out more.

I have a decent case, but unlike some people, I'm not foolish enough to show the backside of it. The inside of mine looks pretty good.

Nice rig, Tw33k. Good job. I take it the new CPU arrived and survived the 'undressing'.

Oh I know, but I'm rarely serious I worked on a number of Philips Ambilight sets back in the day. Am familiar with some backlighting for eyestrain relief

I have been doing a little tidying up in my case earlier, It's not perfect at the back, but a darn sight better than it was before I started! And I tidied up the visible cables inside a little more also.

I think it's as good as it will get for me anyway.

    Paul.
Looks great Paul. I think of my PC as the Wizard of OZ...don't look behind the curtain, just look at the great OZ up front

I haven't done it yet because the new lot of Liquid Ultra I ordered hasn't arrived (it should in the next few days). I'm gonna just paint the top of the IHS first and check temps. If they are similar to the results I got on my AMD chip I may not de-lid
