    Thanks for the tips.

    As usual with this sort of thing, it appears as soon as I want to buy a 3770k the prices have gone up everywhere in the UK, just a week ago they were £225-£230 now I can't find anywhere selling it for less than £245 + delivery

    I will just play the waiting game.

    Well that sucks! Maybe Amazon.uk will have a big sale soon. The US has the Thanksgiving holiday which is always on the 4th Thursday of November. The next day is "Black Friday" the semi official 1st day of Christmas shopping and there are sales galore.

    Price gouging is alive and well and I hate it.
    We are a global community (warts and all) so I think predatory behavior is unacceptable.

    £270 on overclockers

    Ccl computers has them for £240 + £6 1hour slot nxt day. cheapest i could find chap Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad Core Processor 8MB L3 Cache 5GT/s Bus Speed (Boxed) - BX80637I73770K - CCL Computers

    Area Pc has them for £240 + postage

    Someone is ripping our UK friends off. Newegg has the 3770K for $320, about £200.
