In the end you're really just exchanging foot prints. If the computing area has the needed space then it makes sense if not then it's a space hog. I would like to see two or three custom monitor stands that are the computer rig.

Hi Guys.
So here it is at last.
After many an hour of work I finished it.
No matter how much I tried, just coudn't make the backside look any better.
Also, the thing wouldn't boot when I added the second video card, so I'm running on one till I have more time to experiment.
Hope you like it.
Cheers,
J
Thank you very much Steve!
Now I have to experiment with OC'ing the new CPU with new mobo, which is proving quite challenging since the MSI BIOS is quite different from ASUS.
Also I need to find optimum settings for the H100i fans. I'm iddling at around the same temps than what I had with my aircooler, but load temps are ridicously low (no OC yet), yet it is not as quiet.
Thanks for you help and advice with this one Steve.
Cheers,
J
Bungee, don't be concerned about idle temps, unless they are way too high. You buy a cooler for the stressed temps. That's where a cooler shows it's worth. You'll get used to the bios. We've all had to do it, and you'll find plenty of help here too.
Thank you Ganjiry.
I really enjoyed myself while doing it.
@Steve,
Thanks. So far I've been unable to test it at full load (OC'ed) 'cause the board vdroops like crazy and can't run prime95 even for 5 seconds.
Will have to research on how to OC with this board. I have reached the board's VCore limit (1.449), but it drops to 1.39V when I start p95.
It looks like it is going to take a while before I can get any decent OC...
Thanks again,
J
Here is my rig. Clean, simple and powerfull. :)
BerntBalchen, great rig. Extremely nice job, Well done.
@Bungee, my advice is always make sure it is stable at stock. Run Prime at stock first. If you're not stable at stock, you'll never be able to get a stable overclock.
