Bill is most likely right. He usually is, but I leave the cap to the reservoir off during leak testing. No scientific reason, I just do.

EDIT: I'm sure you know this, but never ever let the pump run without water (Cavitate, just so you know I know some big words.) for even 5 seconds. You'll be buying a new pump. Know where the intake line is and keep the water above it.
Thanks Steve. Will me sure it never runs dry.

Is it any better than MX-4 or the fantastically goopy Shin-Etsu?

I made too many changes to be able to tell. But, it seems do do pretty good. It dries to a 'solid metal' which should be better. I found out about it on Overclock Net. Many of them use it and is what most of them use when they De lid their CPU's. As crazy as many think, it's quite prevalent. Some have reported as much as a 35°C drop in temps at the same overclock after de lidding. I figure if it is good enough for them, it will work for me. It's just a little on the expensive side. I know a couple here who use it. They even have a 'delidded club' on OCN. Go there sometime, meet the real crazies in the computer world.

I'm certain I already have an account there because of the Sabertooth Z77 thread (which I haven't posted in since I acquired the board last year )

in other news, these are down to the awesome price of $24.99. Seriously considering picking them up right now.

Michael, that's an excellent price for those. I paid about $100 for my AX850 set from Corsair. I know the HX set would have 2 fewer cables, but still you can't go wrong if you like that look. You would pay twice that much for the NZXT Extension cables and still have an extra 9" of cable on each cable to deal with behind the motherboard. Great find.

Michael, speaking of the legitimate Crazies at OCN, how about this? And they said Ivy Bridge wouldn't overclock well.

Probably a truck load for sure. But don't tell me they aren't tough chips. Just look at that Vcore. Any other chip would have blown up.
