    Thoughts on this MotherBoard

I would like to know if anyone out there has had experience with this particular MB
    http://www.microcenter.com/product/3...MD_Motherboard
what i like about this board it has PCI-e 3.0

I feel the board i currently have bottlenecks my Gpu and Cpu potential

also I am going with this Ram Corsair Vengeance Series 8GB DDR3-1866 (PC3-15000) CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Two 4GB Memory Modules) CMZ8GX3M2A1866C - Micro Center)

or this ram Patriot Viper Xtreme Series 8GB DDR3-1866 (PC3-15000) CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Two 4GB Memory Modules) PXD38G1866ELK - Micro Center)

only difference is i think the Vengeance is lower voltage 1.5

I also forgot to mention i am Migrating to this case I already have it http://thermaltakeusa.com/Products.aspx?C=1420

There is nothing wrong with my board in general performance wise it runs

Im looking to get a better overclocking board on top of a better bios

Just seems like everyone not just me run into to many limitations with MSI boards

also I am unable to untalize my full x16 lans because my card will seat right over the cable for mbpower header which is a pain because im running half azzed speeds

so these are some of the reasons i am upgrading to those parts I have had this case for weeks and this will give me the opertunity to really make a detailed rig and use the old board and my old fx8120 with my HD6870 i have chillen a back up rig

I already gave my mother in law a 965be rig with 80gb ssd 750gb backup baracuda HD along with 8gb patriot ram and a hd5770

it help me get rid of some of these extra's

You won't see much difference, if any, from PCI-E 3.0. PCI-E 2.1 has enough bandwidth:

More or less im looking to actually utalize all my x16 capability which my refrence cards won't do on a MSI board I can't put one of the cards in the other 16x slot based on the header being right there for mother board power if i get it in there no boot

The next choice was to stick it in the x8 slot which i am loosing performance
also this board won't be limited from voltage like my MSI board

I kept thinking why is there a cap on voltage and everyone else doesn't have a cap it is because MSI has a funky bios that pretty much stalls you on good high overclocks

Basicly I am just looking for an all around better board ,I want to go and purchase when the store opens but would like to know how good this board is VS CROSSHAIR ROG board im not looking to spend as high as i did with this one when first purchased 222.00 something the Sabertooth is 189,00 with tax 205.00
