    Custom case feets

Hi im planning a little mod project and it involves me changing the case feets on my 800D but all the case feets I find only sells in 4, so my question is would my 800D be stand stable with 4 rubber feets if I move them closer to the center thus eliminating the need to buy 2x packages.

MNPCTech! BEEFY Rubber Case Feet Products Model: MNPCTECH-CFR [MNPCTECH-CFR] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come case feets im talking about

    1. What is wrong with the feet that came with the 800D?
    2. If it takes more that 4 feet to keep your 800D stable then do it. Use more feet. Your the only one that will know by trying.

I have the same feet on my case and consider them overkill. The only reason I used them is so they would cover the 1/4-20 bolts I permanently fastened to the bottom of the case in case I wanted to bolt the rig down.

I am planning on removing the front panel for a flat aluminum piece and because of that front feet will stick out after this, but are the original feet easy to remove? I could always just move the front feet back about 2cm.

Lady Fitzgerald when you exchanged your old case feet for these did you notice any difference in sound or vibrations being lowered?

I did look at something like that, the wheels would be nice to have since getting my computer out from its small space with rubber feets are quite annoying and I take it out quite often to clean out dust. But how are that one is all plastic or metal/aluminum

it's all plastic the only metal you will find will be on the wheel cast that are seated inside of the cart

So you don't have to worry about any kind of electro static build up

I have another one that is all metal but this one right here is more Durable i think based on the wide base and it fits a full size tower with no balance issues

I see, then I might just consider that cart or see if I can find one in my country to reduce the weight to see if the shipping would be lower without the rubber feets, thank you guys for your info and feedback.
