I really like mine, it is quiet, doesn't take up much room and cools like a beast. They have 140mm units now, and if you are in the market for a case, I'd recommend buying one that had a 140mm mounting option in the rear where the exhaust fan goes. Just a thought.
I will definately be upgrading my case either when I get the new components or soon after but the closed loop coolers look like the ticket.
For an Ivy Bridge system, unless you are going to be pushing it to the limits, you only need a single radiator model(not the dual radiator models like the Corsair H100/H100i). If your current case can only accept a 120mm fan in the back, then you are stuck with a 120mm water cooling unit(it's not bad at all, but if you can start out with a 140mm unit, you are better off!) If you buy a case before you buy the water cooling unit, you can find one that has a 120/140mm mount in the back and you can get one of the new 140mm coolers. I suggest looking into Fractal Designs line of cases. The Fractal Design Arc Midi or Define R4 is a very good case at a good price. I have never heard of anybody buying one and NOT loving it. I also know they have 140mm fan openings in the rear of the case......which would be perfect for the NZXT Kraken X40 liquid cooler. If you are going to buy a liquid cooling unit before you get your case, I can give you some options on 120mm models too.
