The Noctua P series as well as the focused flow fans are outstanding in these radiator push and push pull arrangements.

What are you using to monitor your fan speed? I seriously doubt you have a 120mm fan turning 4000+RPM(unless it is a Delta and you are feeding it as much power as you can). What/where is that particular fan plugged in to?

The program telling me the rad speed is 4k+ rpm is gigabyte easy tune as supplied with the mobo. The rad is attached to a sys fan connector and the fan is connected to cpu fan connector all as stated by corsair installation. Swap the cables over and you still get same readings. I have done nothing to any bios screens etc and if i connect a case fan it runs at 1100 rpm. Remember this isnt a fan giving a reading of 4k its the radiator, so i need to be sure that everything is ok. When i bought this product i didnt know a lot about these coolers so am surprised there is a fan reading and more surprised that the reading is as high as 4k.
So Monday im going to have to speak to the retailer/website where purchased, i have already emailed corsair customer support.

I'm somewhat confused when you say it's not the fan but the radiator giving you the high rpm's. Any way let us know what Corsair says. It's hard for me to believe that a fan that came with a H60 is running 4000 + rpm. It would sound like a air plane and you said it wasn't noisy.
You are running cool and quiet so it must be a false reading.

It's conceivable that the pump could be running around 4,000 rpm as my Thermaltake 2.0 Extreme is currently running at 3,050 rpm and my fans are software controlled and spool from 800 to 1,500 rpm but their slow spinning Noctua P series.

Does the H60 have a Low/Med/High setting on the pump itself? If so, it may be set on high. Also, if you can, will you provide us with the part number of the Corsair H60? There are two different models and I would like to know which you have.

The only thing I can find is the H60 comes with a fan speed program and max. fan speed is 2000 rpm.

The fan supplied is running at 1100, its the rad connected to the sys fan on the mobo giving 4000 rpm. There is no speed control switch on the rad. I think its the V1 version as the box doesnt say V2 although the website are selling the V2, mine was offered to me at the counter as ex display. So you can see where im querying everything.
Remember its the speed of the radiator connected to a sys fan on the mobo that im querying not the speed of the 120mm fan
Thanks everyone
btw there was no supplied software with the product.

Its conceivable that the easytune software as supplied by gigabyte mobo is confused as it is a radiator connected to that fan control header on the mobo and not a case fan.

Okay I think I got it. We have been posting back and forth for 20 post and now you tell us it isn't the fans.

Rad have no moving parts. (Rad=Radiator) Rads have coolant flowing through them. The only other rotating part is the pump. Is that what you are talking about?
