Is this a good gaming computer build?

    Hey everyone,

Just wanted to ask if this gaming build is capable of running the latest games on maximum settings on a 1920x1080 resolution. I'd like to save as much as money as possible.

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ Microcenter)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ NCIX US)
    Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($175.98 @ Amazon)
    Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($64.23 @ Amazon)
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($229.99 @ Adorama)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB Video Card ($284.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case ($54.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($59.99 @ Microcenter)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (OEM) (64-bit) ($89.98 @ Outlet PC)
Mouse: Logitech G400 Wired Optical Mouse ($34.98 @ Outlet PC)
    Total: $1215.11
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
    (Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-03-26 14:38 EDT-0400)

And then some parts I couldn't find listed on PCPartPicker:
Optical Drive: Asus DVR DL 24X,SATA
    Keyboard: Trust LED eLight
    Monitor: LG 21.5" 22EA53VQ-P IPS

I will be ordering from dixons.nl - so no NewEgg combo deals or something, total cost is €1299.88. But I would like to see if I could get a better build for a cheaper price if possible. Thanks for your help!

For that resolution, GTX 660 Ti can prove to be a bottleneck here.

Any other recommendations you would suggest me? Thanks!
EDIT: Also, can I do a RAID 0 on my current Corsair Force 3 SSD with my future Samsung 840 Pro SSD?

He was joking, you will be fine with the 660.
But you can get better performance from a 7870 or 7950 for less money.

Sorry, I'm more of a nVIDIA fan. GTX 660 Ti runs BF3 better than the 7870 so I'll be sticking with GTX 660 Ti.
I just wanted to know if I would be able to do a RAID0 on two of my SSDs with the build above?

He wants to max things out. FPS records for the card are good, but not good enough to be able to run things coming in the next few years (even some newest games) at max settings that too with full HD display. That's the reason I said so.

Looks like a good build to me. In my opinion, the 660 TI is probably the best price/performance card on the market. Maybe this will help

    That's still not bottlenecking.

There is no need to RAID your SSD's.........don't bother with it. Also, the 660Ti will more than likely run anything @ 1080p at 30fps+. Good lookin build! The only thing that sticks out to me is that monitor. I would invest in something a little bigger, say a 23-24". That is a good quality monitor though..LG IPS panels are very nice. Just my thoughts. I would even ditch the optical drive to get a better monitor if I had to......unless you really need one. I use a flash drive for all of the stuff I used to use an optical drive for these days.

The same Ram is at Microcenter for the same price maybe cheaper saw it yesterday

why not invest in a water pump system they can be had for just 60 bucks or so if your not going to be doing overclocking you don't need nothing heavy but a light overclock a water pump will do well for you

everything else looks sweet also check microcenter again I seen your 660ti for like 240.00 something like that you might want to research a couple of those again as I just went to Fry's and Microcenter and of course couldn't help but to see what else I might would want
