Looking good, ganjiry. Glad to hear you haven't picked up a faulty H100i as well.

Although I do have to ask: what kind of thermal paste are you using?

ganjiry,
The rig looks great and don't worry as even the cables are tidy. It's really a study in red leds !

My H100 started making the dreaded grinding noise from the fan controller last week so i've had to replace my cooler. I wanted to keep things pretty much the same and definately didn't want to go bk to air cooling but couldn't find any of the other brands of sealed loops in the uk. Not one with a 240mm rad anyway. So i opted for a H100i After reading all the horror stories about them i was very dubious about installing it so it took me a few days to get around to it lol.
I must be really lucky as i always seem to pick a component and then find tonnes of horror stories about them once ordered but so far i've not had a single thing arrive DOA or faulty(Touch wood).
I'm pretty impressed with the H100i so far as it's solved a couple of thngs for me. The software is pretty good too although i don't like the way you have to create custom fan curve's as its just plain ODD.
it seems to cool slightly better and because i can control the fans more its quieter too. Since moving my rig onto my desk a few weeks back i've struggled to find a way to reduce the amount of vibrations through my desk causing my mouse to move when the fans ramp up Solved! No more bad vibes driving me nuts.
i also swapped out the stock 200mm corsair fan off my side panel for a Bitfenix Spectre Pro which is a hell of a lot better than the original.
I swapped the rear fan from intake to exhaust again to see if it made any difference but it reduced the airflow around the cpu socket and heatsinks. So it got swapped back.
Everything is a tad quieter now, Untill ingame when the gpu fans kick up a stink.
I know my cables look a mess again but i just cannot be a***d to redo them lol.
What exactly do you mean by stink G a smell or racket cos relubing the fan bearings is not that hard to do

For some reason i've stopped getting notifications to thread reply's so sorry for the delayed reply folks.

@ Dude, Cheers! The Cougar Vortex fans are really good if you don't mind the colour. Very quiet and move plenty of air.
They've just released a version with led's too but they're not available in the uk yet. Not that i can find anyway and i need to for the front intake's.

@Lady Fitz, Thanks! I just couldn't be bothered unscrewing the motherboard to route cables behind it. Getting lazy lol.

@Steve, Yeah i've heard about your luck mate or should i say bad luck. I think i would hae given up by now mate Maybe your just getting all the bad luck out of the way in one go. So you'll have a tonne of good luck now
I've only ever had one thing DOA and that was a headset. I wish i had this luck in other area's.

Cheers Paul

@Michael Cheers chap, The H100 is only 11 months old so luckilly it's stil under warranty so will get replaced with another H100i,
I wonder how many times that one will need to be returned. The amount of threads on Corsair forums about faulty one's is shocking but we don't know how many good one's are out there do we becaue peeps only go there for support.
As for Tim i was using Arctic Silver 5 but now it's Noctua's NT-H1.

Cheers Alan, Yeah i like my led's I used to have them blue but found the red's less strain on the eye's.

@ ICit2lol, i meant racket mate, It's not a problem as i always wear a headset when gaming. I think the just get loud due to the size and the fact they spin in opposite directions.
I'm thinking of repasting them but am too scared of breaking them lol.

@ shinigami8671,
There are a couple of things you could try that may help. The cables for the front panel could route through where u have the 4pin atx cable up top and down the back of the mobo tray. You see the little slits for cable's to tie to?
The 2 that are directly below the mobo could be removed so the front panel cables can come bk in through them.
The 4pin Atx could then go through the hole at the top right of pic 2 and down the back of the mobo as it is now. That excess fan cable could just be tucked down the back through the same hole as the 4pin atx.
Then it's just the bunch of molex left which you could put through the big hole that the others go through and just spread them out and tie then as flat as possible to the little cable tie slits if you have the space between the back of the mobo tray and side panel..
Just get some cable ties and take some time tying as you go. I use loads of zip tie's
I hope it helps mate

Well, I see one oval hole that has no cables through it so maybe the front panel connectors could come in through it. The bundle of cable at the top could be put behind the mobo maybe. I also notice your PSU isn't modular, that would help, I think there are 7 unused connectors taking up space.

When I start wiring I go with the main power cable, GPU cable, then the EPS12V (the one next to the CPU) in that order. Then it is easy to route the small cables over or around those big ones. Get the inside neat first then mess with the back. You may have to disconnect some again to re-route them.

Now that you have it all wired up have a look at it, you'll likely think, "well crap this can go here instead".

Really a modular PSU is one of the best thing since sliced bread.

Yes i thought up almost the same thing BUT i didnt know if it was a good idea to put the wires behind the mobo or not,but i will try them out now,it was really helpful mate, thanks

which oval hole do you mean? I think all are occupied somewhat, and I did the exact same thing, took out the GPU wires, the EPS12v and the main power cable,i connected all these first and foremost and then went forward with the rest, tied the ones i wasnt using below as seen in the 1st pic, will try to put some in the back of the mobo and then look again
And i know,i was also going to upgrade to a modular PSU first but was getting this casing in cheap price so thought what the hell Will be upgrading to modular PSU no matter what because it simply looks good above all else

Here's a couple of recent pics of my rig, I am so useless at taking pics, they always look bad!
Cables need some work.

I am itching for some changes, expect to see a different motherboard and cpu soon (you won't actually see the cpu though lol).

It's gonna be either Sandy-E or Haswell.

But I am bored and you know something's gotta change

Thanks Kelly, I try to keep it clean, I spent a good couple of hours cleaning the whole thing including all fan blades last month. Pain in the ass but glad I did it.
