    Who knows, maybe we're really onto something with that gerbil wheel!
    Lady Fitz you and I thought of it and A Guy is building them. Three way split is good for me! LOL

    Are Hamsters faster than gerbils?
    Just wondered for the heavy duty gamers.

    I don't how fast hamsters are but the gerbils my kids had could run like greased lightning. One got loose once and, when we would spot him, he would manage to find a hidey hole before we could catch up to him. After a week, I was getting ready to leave for work and spotted him in the kitchen. I literally made a flying leap and managed to grab his tail before the little bugger could finish disappearing through a crack between the counter bottom and the toe kick. I was tempted to give him to my German Shepherd but I would have had to bury my kids so he got a reprieve and a unceremonial dump back into his cage.

    I did a similar thing with my card reader, Only i chopped up 1 of the drive bay covers and a drive bay converter with a Dremmel. the face of the bay converter needed sanding down to size a fair bit to fit the mesh over it. I didn't quite get it straight though.
    Hey you could finish that off real nice with some of that fish tank air tubing slitting it carefully down the centre and then placing it around the mesh opening but hey nice fix.

    Now I love my HAF XM stacks of room is actually is wider and deeper than the HAF X which surprised me without that height
    You sure about that, John?

    Attachment 263821
    Well looking at your pic the X does look bigger than the XM and I don't really want to get into semantics but the dimensions quoted by Coolermaster are

    X = W230mm H599mm D 550mm

    XM = W252mm H530mm D579mm

    I think the X looks bigger because of the height which really isn't an issue for me I like the depth and width for internal space.

    I don't know but the Coolermasters have it all over the others for me.

    I know that looks bigger in the pic but is the X an older model perhaps?

    Thats a pretty good idea that, Cheers!
    I think i've done all i'm going to with this rig now, well in this case anyway. I need to start saving for a new case(600T Black) It's not much bigger than what i have now internally but has a tonne more space behind the mobo tray and i prefer the fan layout.
    Speaking of fans, I replaced the stock 200mm fan on my side panel for a Bitfenix Spectre Pro and what a fan it is. I have it runing at a constant 70% and it moves loads of air. Quietly too.

    Well I only said ferretts cos originally I thought of small rocket packs in their backs thought no too expensive and you would have to refuel them - Taser errr nope you would have to charge them up so it was ferretts could be the German Shepherd if we could fit it in

    Our kids had a couple guinea pigs. They had a kid's plastic pool about 4-5 ft diameter and about 1.5 ft high that they sometimes took the guinea pigs out to play iin the pool, no water, just litter.
    One day one of 'em got really playful and started running around the edge of the pool so fast she accidentally flung herself out over the top with sheer centrifugal force! The sides were kinda slanted, not straight up and down, she just went flying over the top! LOL

    That was the funny part, but then we had to catch her.
