    Question about Define r4 case

Hey all i just upgraded my old case from 2005 to a define r4 i am very impressed so far its so much quieter i got a new video card and power supply to really make it quieter also but my main question is do any of you guys have the define r4 and use these Noctua NF-A14 with the included fan controller on the define r4 does it make any strange behaviors like rattle or anything or should i just stick with the noise adapters included on the noctua fan

Noctua has some great fans, all are top shelve so I would not mess with them; unless you care to take them apart and paint them. As great as they are they are also some kind of butt ugly with their color scheme.

I would stick with the provided adapters but only if needed as the 140mm should prove very quiet spinning at there top speeds.

Are your fans making a rattling noise? Or is this just a general question?

I would not paint the fans. You could throw them out of balance and also disturb the air flow capabilities. Yes they are ugly but you will get use to it.

I doubt any Noctua fan will make a peep if you install them right. I would use the fan headers on the motherboard and see how that works.
