I do not plan on OC'ing.

Went to Cooler Master site and found better spec's, pretty sure it will fit with no problem.

That is for the GeminII M4, what you have previously linked to was the GeminII S524. The GeminII M4 will support the FX line of CPU's, but it doesn't show the FX series in the specs for the S524 model.

My mistake. This is the right one and does not appear it will fit.

Ok, looks like they just haven't updated the spec sheet for that cooler. I would still go with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. It's $4 cheaper, and is one of the best value air coolers on the market. The main difference is how the heatsink and fan is oriented. With the Fractal Design case, you shouldn't have any clearance issues. It is totally up to you though. If you ever DID want to bump your CPU speed up in the future(since it is so easy to do on the 8350) the Hyper 212 Evo will do a much better job keeping things cool. Just some advice.

Thank's for the advice and the suggestion for the great cooler.

I don't think I made it too clear, I already own the Gemin II S524, it is in my current machine.
So now, other than the low end video card am I in good shape with my list ?

The only parts I do not own are the CPU and MB.

    Just got the PSU delivered.

Oh, gotcha. Sorry, I thought that was something you were ordering. Yes, the GPU is the only thing left to upgrade, and if it does what you need it to do, you are done!

Well the performance of the GPU remains to be determined as I have never installed it in the machine. The thing I was wondering with it is the mem. on it is rated at DDR2, will this make much of a difference ?

If you aren't gaming, it doesn't matter honestly.

The only part I'm not 100% sure about is the MB.
I was looking at more info. on the ASRock MB listed above and saw a lot of negative reviews on it.

So I'm thinking it is not a good idea to go with this one.

What other model or brand would be comparable to this ?
Also, how can I tell if I'm getting the latest revision of a MB ?
