    [QUESTION] CPU & RAM overclocking

    I'm really new in overclocking. I have few questions here;

    1. How do I know whether my RAM & CPU are overclocked or not.

    2. How do I set it to default.

    3. Do RAM really need to be overclocked (lets say 8GB)

    I have i7 2600k, even it is good for overclocking but I'm afraid BSOD/system crash occuring, any advice?

    Thanks a lot master.

    Nah actually I'm not really wanted to OC my system, I want it to be default and see any much performance decrease and lesser bug. Any idea?

    Once you change settings in the bios you can use CPUID to check

    2. How do I set it to default.

    Read through the maunual for your Motherboards BIOS

    3. Do RAM really need to be overclocked (lets say 8GB)

    Usually default is fine, it's your choice to OC

    Take OCing slow, a little bit at a time, use benchmarks to test

    Thanks a lot master.

    If you built your computer, and you didn't OC it, then it isn't overclocked.
