BSOD after ocing CPU with Asus Auto Tune and resetting to Default

Hey guys, first post here on the seven forums. Ive always been one to visit to see if I could fix a problem I have, but ive finally come across something I can not find any info on.

So today I tried to step up my CPU speeds using the Asus auto tune.
I first tried the 'Fast' setting and it restarted with no issues, so then I tried the 'Extreme' setting. After a couple of tests it got to a point where it caused a BSOD and my pc restarted. After the restart it kept BSoDing (on the desktop) so i stopped the auto tune and set it back to its default setttings (in the bios)

After that I got into windows again and thought I'd just go with the 'Fast' tune, and once I did that I got the bsod again. So of course I reset my bios to default. But now after getting about 1 min into my desktop I keep getting a damn BSoD, even after CLEARING the cmos!

BSOD Info:
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Stop: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFF8A00831D000, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF8000311738F, 0x0000000000000000

At the moment I am running my PC in safe mode with networking.

PC Specs
CPU: i7 3770K
MOBO: Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe
RAM: 8Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz RAM
GPU: Asus GTX 670
SSD Samsung 840 Pro 128GB
HDD: WD Black 1TB
CPU Cooler: Corsair H80i
PSU: XFX 850W

So frustrating!!
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

EDIT:
Well fortunatly enough I seemed to have solved my case with some trial and error. Took out a stick of ram and cleared the CMOS for a second time and booted back up with no blue screens. Chucked the other stick in and my PC is back to normal!
