    I'm new to this is my overclock safe


    I have an FX-8350 overclocked to 4.8mhz

    settings i have done

    multiplex 20.00

    cpu voltage 1.500

    I will put images in with this thread i also ran a cpu test where it use's 100% all cores for 1 min

    We usually use something like Prime95 for stress testing and for preliminary testing you need to let it run for 30 minutes to 1 full hour. I personally like RealTemp 3.70 for temps, but some have had issues with it and AMD CPU's. Stress your system for 30 min - 1 hour and monitor the temps. If everything is looking good and you have no issues, you can continue on for a longer amount of time. For a 24/7 stable overclock, I personally recommend 12-24 hours of continuous testing.

    Would you say currently the temps look okay

    I don't know because I don't trust the software you are using to monitor them. I do know there is no way all of your CPU cores are exactly the same temperature.

    well to be honest voltage is high and you are using CCC I doubt it is truly stable you should be able to hit 5 Ghz with that v core here is a snip of my specs you have he same board why aren't you using the bios to over clock you will get much better results

    those temps are not load temps are they because if they aren't you will exceed the heat limit right away what kind of cooler are you using ?

    Plus I have it automatically shutdown at 60c

    im no good with the bios thanks for your specs i will try in the bios
