I think for better airflow it should be down. If placing the case on the floor/carpet put it on some kind of stand or even a flat board.. It is an intake so drawing cooler air from outside is better.

Now I'm upset, you didn't watch the video from post 53, at 23 minutes and a few seconds it covers that

Actually if the rig is going anywhere near the floor or carpet then I'm a huge fan of up and not down. Either way it's not a deal killer. Wiring everything up is just a slow and steady process and thinking about the cable management at the same time. Understand that very few of us get it knocked the first time so allow you self the joy of the re-wire or partial re-wire.

its not going to be on the carpet, its going on top of my subwoofer. so its a carpeted surface, but its hard and will hav e plenty of airflow.

dont worry, sub dont vibrate much at all, and i never play it loud when gaming. if im playing it loud, the rig will be off. but its the only place i can put it

If you put the pc on a rug floor, cut a piece of wood to put it on. Most of us put the pc right on our desk.

    Right peoples

Actually placing it up creates a better case air flow buy helping to remove the null air space in the bottom of the case.

I would buy a small table or stand to put it on. On the floor it will suck in a lot more dust, and faster.

The psu in that case goes at the top, so the fan would be at the bottom.

That also helps to get heat out of the case, not so good for the psu, but what can ya do.

Did you actually order the case yet ?

On top of your subwoofer? I bet you crank up the volume sometimes Get a simple file cabinet to place it on, then you can put spare parts in the drawers

You can see how a case with the psu at the bottom would pull cool air in and right back out through it`s own exhaust. I think this is really the best way it can be done.
And the C70 comes with 2 dust filters that cover the bottom intakes.
