I hope so, Greg. I love threads where people are trying to actually do something with their computer besides browse the internet, check email and post on Facebook. I didn't help much, but I learned some things.
Ok I think the issue is resolved
I bought the new splitter changed pci-e slots and also changed the tuner there are two tuners Analog Capture and Digital input tuner
I changed to Analog capture cable signal and the weird colors I was getting is gone no lags straight forward play
as for the 10 min 15 min freezing I haven't sat here long enough to figure if it is stable and the issues have went away but for now it seems pretty solid and on target with the regular boob tube
The third photo Off color as it is named is what I was getting before
I think when I used Windows media center it enabled both tuners for what reason I don't know

I will be adding a tuner or two to my computer one of these days so I've been following this thread closely. Thanks for sharing with us.
No problem I have used tuners in the past but I was dumbfounded why it keeps crashing and changing colors and also to add using a fixed cable connection not regular digital signal and antenna's
I am glad you have taken interest where I didn't know I was heading into uncharted waters with this situation of mine
No good ole Cable we have Cox we were supposed to get Direct TV sometime back but it was cancelled Wife didn't like the package no Filipino channels
So we stuck with Cox plus I have decent internet speed I can tell you the problem is licked I watched half an hour of tv or more probably and I went through every channel 2 times and very clean full screen
Steve now you know it has to be a 2.4 Ghz Splitter with analog capture enabled I still want to mess around with Windows Media Center but worried I would screw my card back up
Also with media center even changing aspect ratio didn't help
