I was looking for a new set of SATA cables in the next town over where I take my dad for his treatments. I had plenty of time to kill and figured MAYBE one would have what I needed. 4 "computer" shops, 2 didn't carry any PC hardware whatsoever and the other 2 don't keep cables in stock. Now I know it has become competitive with online stores, but the way to get business back and generate new business is NOT refusing to stock common parts. I refused to even attempt to try Best Buy. I decided to just order some.

Best buy can be a little frustrating sometimes.

Here are the cables I ordered Rosewill 10" Serial ATA III Red Flat Cable w/ Locking Latch Support 6 Gbps, 3 Gbps, and 1.5 Gbps transfer rate Model RCA-RU-10-SA3-90-RD - Newegg.com not too bad $2.49 apiece plus $.99 shipping I am getting those two cables including shipping cheaper than I could buy one at Best Buy so it all works out better in the end anyway.
I'm glad that it worked out for you. It's just frustrating to have to wait for that last niggling detail because you couldn't find a lousy cable or two locally (I live in a megopolis and frequently run into that problem).
I probably could across the river and went into Omaha Nebraska to get a couple but I hate traffic and they got the College World Series going on so it's nuts going over there, according to UPS's website I will have them 2 cables by tomorrow evening I'm in no hurry.

We finished it off for the weekend except for the lightscribe DVD burner The one I have is a IDE and I tried an adapter to SATA and no matter how I tried to hook it up it wouldn't work, so I ordered a SATA lightscribe DVD burner will put it in next weekend.

Speedfan was given me the wrong temperatures for the CPU, the bios and Speccy has it about 30°C

Here are some pictures nothing fancy but it works for us.
