More silly questions. For you who have the Saber Tooth Z77, what BIOS do you have? For the 3770K's, do you know the country of origin?
    Thanks, Gary

Congrats Steve for hitting the top spot.

Mine has Bios 1708, I expect it's far from the most recent but it works well for me so I see no reason to change it.

My CPU is not one of the latest ones which seem to require a lot less voltage but for your information it's from Costa Rica.

The latest BIOS is 2003 http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SAB...rt_Download_30 My CPU is Costa Rica too. I'm gonna update its BIOS since it's a new build, otherwise I'd leave it as well.

I'm running 2003 I updated it because of my sata port issue

I really don't think it mattered though I did have 1805 I think that is the one that came with the board

I just ran Prime blend for 10 hours at 4200 on the new Ivy B setup, all OK. The RAM did get real hot to the touch though, does anyone else's do that too? I though it was a quirk with Haswell, but Ivy Bridge does it too.

Hmm well Gary I don't OC as you might know but my RAM sticks get warm to the touch more than I would have thought but perhaps that is normal.

They did get real hot on a recent crash of the LC cooling pump but I am guessing it was because the CPU was running wild??
