Hmm, there's an idea Steve. I'd rather have one that uses a PCIe slot though.

You all are making me itchy for some new hardware! Great OC Gary......that's quite a bit less voltage than I needed to hit 5 jiggahertz.

Tommy, what would you do with the rest of the money? You could get a 1TB Samsung and 2 Titans and still have about half of it left.

I was just thinking of those threads of people who had $10,000 to build a computer with. I always laugh at the answers they get. We build all the time, but have to struggle on how to spend that much money on a computer. We have rigs better than 90% of the public, and spent 1/3 of that much money. We have to really struggle to spend that much.

Well I have, I think, about $1200 in my Sandy system. Hard to figure since I've swapped so much in and out. I think I could build my dream rig and still have $3000 left over, maybe a down payment on a new truck.

Well general limit would be $5000 /10,000 would be overkill

If you Consider how much is spent if i calculated my current build is at least $1500 easy

If I add my AMD set up in there it would be about $1100 that is between 2 well built PC's $2600.00 Total

Now if I was to build a super PC that is Workstation like well then $5000 would barley make it depending on what you use

Most people don't even need a PC with even half the power of the one's they buy in the stores prebuilt

General public could get away with a 800mhz dual core and still think it's fast as hell vs I dunno their phone????
