To be honest Kelly I am looking at a dual rad closed loop to last me maybe 6 months, they look a lot nicer than my current cooler, I really want to go custom water next year maybe sooner as money will not be an issue but for now I want a nice closed loop. How about the H100i?

Thanks Wrend, You have done very well to get to 4.9 IMO and you are on air right? I think you need a nice bit of water, if you don't want to go mad then the Swiftec H220 is supposed to be great as a closed loop, I am seriously thinking of getting one when I get the new switch 810 in the next couple of weeks. But if you want to go hardcore then it has to be a custom loop. I want to try that maybe next year and I think the Switch 810 case will be an excellent case for it, I need to do a lot of research into custom water before I do anything though, but if Steve (essenbe) can do it then anyone can. (sorry Steve cts10).
Thanks. Yeah, it's a decent air cooler as those go at least, but still not water.

I'm thinking about maybe picking up an H80i, if it will fit well enough in my case. If not then I may eventually upgrade my case before too long here and go with something like the H100i/Swiftech H220, but we'll see. I'm keeping my options open. It's fun messing about with this stuff, but it isn't really a priority for me.

    ...

Maybe I'll distill some heavy water using electrolysis and use that in a loop. It's added density and thermal conductivity may help to cool things down more. LOL

Yeah man it's fun, and I agree it's not a priority it's just a hobby really to many of us.

If your case will accept 120/140mm fans, you have several options for a dual rad system. The NZXT Kraken X60, the Corsair H110 or H100, Thermaltake 2.0 or 3.0 Extreme, Silverstone Tundra TD02, and the Asetek 570LX. Cooler Master has a couple dual rad systems but I've not been impressed with them at all.

Paul, I don't know if you'll be able to get the Swiftech H220. They had patent issues with Asetek and I believe have quit making that particular model. Surprisingly enough, even though it got rave reviews quite a few people have had issues after a few months of use. It may be isolated issues, but I was seriously let down when people started having issues with it. If you keep your old water cooler, go ahead and try one out, and if it goes tits up.....put the Antec 920 back into rotation.
I was gonna order one today Kelly, It was in stock and I put it in my basket, but then I found out I had to wait until the 1st of Sept to buy my case and cooler.
Its a long story but I will save a lot of money if I buy through my Brother in Law and although I have the cash now he cannot put it though the books or order it until the 1st sept

I have not heard of the issues with it, I will have to look into that.
Looks the swiftech H220 is still around in Europe in manies online shops. And looks also that particular watercooler have a leak problem reported. HERE one example of those probs.

It is still one of the coolest pre-filled watercooling loop around!

I wish I could remember where I saw it........some review site and some forum I believe. They have been out of stock at Newegg for the longest time, because of the lawsuit. It may also just apply to the states though. You should look into one of the Asetek units.....those guys have been doing this forever, and half of the closed loop systems out there are made by Asetek. Your Antec, my Intel, the Thermaltake(I think), NZXT Krakens, and some of the Corsairs are all made by Asetek. I'll only buy one of those because they are hands down THE best.

That's it Bill. Turns out it is only in the US. Also, I think the problems were with leaks and pump failures.

Tommy, that rig is absolutely smokin'! Highest WEI you can hope for. Glad everything is up to snuff and you got the issues worked out. Great job

I thought they did Gary. Asetek can take credit for arguably the best closed loop systems out there in my opinion.
