Yes I know about SP fans that is why I opted for the Corsairs HP /SP120's mine are good mine are 3.1mm H2O CFM 62.74

Anyway i'm about to break down this beast and take the 620 back also I am going to point out fry's has that same khuler for 20 dollars cheaper

Tommy, that post was not directed at you, I just put it out for those who don't realize that. It was a general info post, not directed at anyone. Please don't be offended, that was not my intention.

I wish we had a Fry's near us. Last time I checked, the closest one to me was about 250 miles. Kind of makes any savings you get away, for me.

These are the specs for the XtraFlo fans I now have in push-pull on my current Hyper 212 EVO:

GENERAL
Brand Cooler Master
Model ID XtraFlo
Part Number R4-XFBL-22PR-R1
Cooler Type Fan, 120 mm
Type Cabinet
Fan LED Red
FAN
Fan Speed 800 - 2200 RPM
Fan AirFlow 34.02 - 93.74 CFM
Air Pressure 0.43 - 3.3 mmH2O

Fan Bearing Type DynaLoop Bearing
Fan Life 40000 hr
Fan Speed Control PWM
Noise Level 38 dB
POWER SPECIFICATIONS
Power Connector 4-pin
Fan Rated Voltage 12 V
Rated Current 0.7 A
Power Consumption 8.4 W
OTHER FEATURES
Additional Features Anti-Vibration Rubber Pads
DIMENSIONS
Fan Dimensions 120 x 120 x 25 mm
Fan Weight 102 g

Would they be OK to re-purpose for the water kit I plan to get in a couple of months' time? It will be a 240-360mm unit, as my HAF-X is rated up to that radiator size, and I could use the extra cooling given our high ambients.

I have a HAF X with a 360mm in the top, so it indeed will work. But depending on which rad you choose, you may not be able to run push/pull. I can't, but my rad is 64mm thick too. Another consideration is how many fins per inch (FPI) the rad is. The fewer FPI it is, the slower the fans can be (quiet). A good basic tut on them was posted by our own Alsisgevat, who seems to me missing in action. But, it will cover the basics. Water Cooling guide. If you have any questions, pleas ask. There are a lot of people who would be happy to help. The local expert seems to be Bungee. Where are you, Juan? But, those fans seem to be OK, although I've never heard of them.

Here is an interesting article I found that tests fans and gives actual results with numbers. I know how some people like to see the numbers. The Ultimate Cooling Fan Comparison
