    The most expensive monitor!

OMG, this monitor is awesome, but £3000! Seriously how good can it be for that price!

    Asus PQ321QE 4K Super-High Resolution Widescreen Monitor - Black [PB321QE]

You could build a top PC with 3 1080p screens for less than the cost of this!

They will be around $1000-1500 before the end of the year. Asus, and the others with 4K resolution monitors will soon find out that the market isn't there for this kind of hardware at that price. Sony brought out their first 4K TV at something like $25000, and the very next model they dropped it to $5000........it's about what people will pay for it, and 99% of people won't pay a premium for that. Also, it's not that much more expensive to make them, so I don't know who is setting their pricing, but they need to be fired.

It's always been that way at the introduction of a new technology or device. Remember the first home VCRs? Very expensive when introduced but prices dropped quickly.

I waited until the price of a CD burner (HP) dropped to around $100 US before I bought one.
Still have it, as a matter of fact, and it might even work!

As for DVD burners, well, I waited until they hit $150 US before I bought one (Sony). Still have that, too, it's in my "media repository" machine. Burned a data DVD with it just last week.

To run Crysis 3 maxed out on one of those would take tri-SLI Titans. So another $3,000 on top to feed it!
