Nice rig Contrabardus. That's a massive case and crazy graphics power. You could mine a few bitcoins with 3 x 6gb 7970's! Also makes an excellent room heater.....lol.
I've heard that mining is a bad idea on multi-gpu systems. It creates massive amounts of heat and would melt my PC pretty quickly. Otherwise I might consider it.

@ Steve, the rig looks very nice. I love the lighting around the CPU block and you did a very tidy job all round. How are your temps so far with the beast?

@ Alan, I have been following your build over the last week or so and it has turned out very nice, it looks like a real cool little build with a lot of power and some nice little touches . Nice work bud

Seems there has been a lot of building going on recently. I myself was doing a build all day yesterday for Jess' Dad, it all went pretty well and was fully up and running with all drivers and updates on by 9PM yesterday.
Specs below, I only managed to take a couple of really bad pics as it was very dark and I was tired, but you get the idea.

    Switch 810 Gunmetal
    i7 4770K
    Maximus VI Hero
    MSI GTX 780 Gaming OC
    250GB Samsung EVO
8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 2133MHz
    Corsair H100i Water cooler
    XFX Pro Series 850W PSU
Cooler Master Quickfire Pro Mechanical Keyboard.
    And the monitor - Asus VX279Q AH-IPS 27" LED Frameless Monitor with DP/HDMI/MHL & Speakers 5ms - Scan.co.uk
Good job mate, it's a proper nice build
The Switch 810 is really tall isn't it and makes the Hero look loads smaller Good choice on the gpu, they're super quiet and my fav part of my build as I can do anything quietly now

For what it's worth AMD gpu's are the defacto processor of choice for just purpose. NewEgg has several multiple GPU mining kits out, some with 6 of the 7970's. I've just heard that the power to effectively mine comes at a cost at least as much as the coin.

Ah, OK, I found this link in Wikipedia that makes more sense to me.
ELI5: bitcoin mining (xpost in ELI5) : Bitcoin
Also I think can be called "Exercise in Futility".
