    Hiya scriptton,

I have an old 8800gts in my parts draw next to me right now, I don't know how you feel about them, but it used to run very hot even at stock speeds for me, the thing died in the end. But my personal advice would be to be very careful if you are going to overclock 1, of course if you are running 2 in SLI then the heat will be increased even further. I don't know how much of a performance gain you would get, but with my older Nvidia's I always ran into instability problems with any overclocking I did on them.

It may not be worth it, I don't want you to cook your cards.

    Paul.

well i would like to use my Biostar OC capability some day but im not famialr or really know how to set it since it is an art form take some time to learn. just want to learn how to configure it and such for experince. im just going to keep the cards at stock and probably just increase the fan speed with ntune or speedfan.

Take a little time to fill in your system specs in your profile, it helps us to see what you have.

It's always useful for everyone especially when you need help with stuff:)
