Thanks, yeah it looks like a nice card.

Also the R9 290X just came back in stock so I ordered one of them too, the Sapphire one.

The plan is to try both cards out and send back/sell the one I don't want.
Lmao! Covering all bases i see
I reckon you'll be hanging onto the 780 though as it's a beastly looking card and a really good performer.
Yeah lol, you are probably right mate but it will certainly be fun trying them both out.

I don't know Paul after reading some on the 290x after mature drivers it might wreck a 780

after a few reviews and looking at vids it's designed to run hot which I guess is an advantage don't have to worry about it getting too hot but everything else around it might melt

But having AMD and nVIDIA drivers on the same system could cause conflicts even when removing one or the other.

I was thinking of putting both cards in the pc and connecting them by a crossXsli cable but I don't know what drivers to use? :)

I don't know if that is possible

What I do know is you can use one as the PhysX and the other as the main that is what would happen

as far as both of them activated or tandem type thing I don't think it will work that way are there any reads on this ?
