Shoot if were talking about cold, I am stuck in POLAND where it's not uncommon to get 6 feet of snow and dig TUNNELS to get around. Like watching an ant farm out your window. Ever hear or roof diving? Well it's a sport they invented in Russia, our neighbor, where kids go up on the roof.....5th...10...15th floor and jump into the snow below. And I think 3 or 4 winters ago was it, from Sept till March snow nonstop with temps below zero every day. If you left your handbrake on overnight, your car wasn't moving until either you found some guy who had a few beers too mant (not hard) and a blowtorch or couple hundred euros to unfreeze it. I was thinking if it snowS real heavy, to wrap my computer in a huge ziplock bag, or maybe 3 or 4..use a large kitchen spatula to make a form in the snow on the balcony and nature provided cooling here we come...just have to figure out a way around condensation

I`m gonna run longer hoses and put my radiator outside the window

Paul, wouldn`t the water in the cooling system freeze ?

Moisture from the daytime would freeze over at night. I already thought about it since my computer is about 1 meter from the window at it's height. And all that stuff about expanding and contracting forces I learned in school came back to bite me, it would probably weaken the radiator, break it over time. Not a bad idea though. Unless you put it in a zipper gladock bag maybe?

Ya, I wasn`t serious about it. My pc is up on the left side of my desk and my window is right behind the Steelers towel, So all I really gotta do is open it and it would be 34F in a matter of minutes

This iphone is really tickn me off, one minute it takes great pics, the next they look horrible

That did worry me at the start but it made it through last winter with minus 10C so I guess it's not just plain water.

The liquid in our coolers isn't water, so it's unlikely they will freeze at 0*C/32*F

Sometimes when friends come over they always complain about my heating being broken and they call me a hobo because I'm sitting in font of my computer with 2 hoodies and 3 blankets on and all the windows are open. One even suggested I either go see a shrink or a heating repairman. They just don't understand the commitment

Thermaltake had an article about their cooling liquids. There is some anti-freeze in the loop.
