Never noticed the title bar. The programs I use to load the cpu are behind the CPU-Z but I'm not really sure.I think that is the reason. Nope not the reason so I don't know why.
I'm using the updated CPU-Z 168.0X64.
I shall post some more to eliminate any confusion or distrust.

It wasn't about trust Jack, I was just curious, maybe you had a custom theme installed. Your values all look good to be.

I have found 1 bad ram module and 1 maybe module.
There are 2 Ram slots on the mother board I can't check properly until I get new Ram. Maybe it's not the motherboard!

Jack, did I miss something along the way? I know you were having trouble with the ram slots on the board. Are you still running the Trident X? Qhy are you running 24 GB instead of 32 GB? Why do you have the ram underclocked and timings different than specs? I'm not on the board with the Trident right now. But this has the same frequency, timings and voltage as the Trident. This is what the specs every Z77 board sers them to.

EDIT: sorry, didn't see your last post. If you RMA the ram, RMA the whole set and get a new one.

Jack, if I could make a few suggestions seeing as I have the same Ram and also Ivy-E

I have found that my Ram performs better at 2133MHz than 2400MHz. I know you are not running yours at 2400MHz either but I will give you my settings to test should you wish.

I would set the strap back to 100 and change the Multiplier to 46 so you maintain your 4.6GHz OC. You can probably get away with a lower voltage too but we won't worry about that for now.

Set the Ram speed to 2133MHz and timings to 9-10-10-24 2T, Voltage to 1.65V and see how you get on with that.

Here is a screenshot of my speeds with those timings.

Paul I'm always open for suggestions.
I will do some tinkering. Paul when you set your ram timing do you set all sticks or just the first one and leave the rest on auto. (Secondary Timings) (Third Timing)(Latency Timings) ect.
How do you have the Enhanced Training set?
Meaning when you set the first timing will the auto pick up the new setting?

Steve I'm using 24 gb because the other two modules when install in any slot cut the ram in half.
If I install one of the bad sticks with 16 gigs installed it only shows 8 ect. The ram came in 4 modules to a package so I don't know which ones go with which ones. Unless they will RMA all 8 sticks I don't know how to get matched.

Hi Jack,

I just set the timing as I said above, didn't mess with anything else. Everything else is set to Auto for Ram timings including Enhanced Training set.

Also I notice you have Hyperthreading turned off for the CPU. Do you have a particular reason for this?

I ran some tests earlier, with HT ON and the Ram at 2400MHz I score around 25000 in Winsat, with HT OFF at 2400MHz I score around 29000.

With the Ram at 2133MHz and the tighter timings as I listed above I scored what was in my last screenshot, But with the Ram at 2133MHz and HT OFF there is a big difference (See new screenshot below).

This is of no big importance, I guess what I am saying is you should score around 41000 with HT ON and 51K with it OFF.
There again you have a different CPU to mine so it may handle the Ram differently.

Reading that back, it all probably sounds very confusing.

Essential in my findings I have found that (in my case) Ivy-E shows a performance drop with any speed over 2133MHz.

I have also found that the timings are critical to the score. If I change the timings ever so slightly from 9-10-10-24 on my system the Winsat score will plummet from 41K or 51K (depending if HT is on or off) right down to 29K.

No matter what I do my winsat mem is around 32500.
This cpu likes certain things that I have never seen before.
Even when I choose Asus optimal the BCLK goes to 125.00 and strap 125 MHz.
It doesn't like BCLK 100 AND Strap 100

What works best is BCLK 125 and Strap 125 MHz and cores at 37. Ram at 2333 gives me the best winsat mem.
Remember I'm looking for a over clock I can run every day all day.
I got my vcore down to 1.272 running 100% load and working on lowering it some more. CPU temps 48C.

Vcore 1.24 temps 45C.

PS: HT on/off has no effect on winsat mem. This chip just works different.

Looking for opinions on this PC.
My desktop PC is getting on in years - it's a 3GHz P4 I bought back in '05 or so. I've got a good NVidia card in it and 3G of RAM, and there's still quite a bit it can do, but it really is starting to cause me some headaches.
