No matter what I do my winsat mem is around 32500.
This cpu likes certain things that I have never seen before.
Even when I choose Asus optimal the BCLK goes to 125.00 and strap 125 MHz.
It doesn't like BCLK 100 AND Strap 100

What works best is BCLK 125 and Strap 125 MHz and cores at 37. Ram at 2333 gives me the best winsat mem.
Remember I'm looking for a over clock I can run every day all day.
I got my vcore down to 1.272 running 100% load and working on lowering it some more. CPU temps 48C.
Yes I understand that Jack. I have mine set up already for my Daily OC. I have 100 Strap, 46 Multiplier, and I have speedstep enabled and am using an offset voltage.
It runs 4.6GHz at 1.264V and 1.2GHz idle at 0.900V.

I guess your CPU doe's not handle the Ram the same as mine then. I certainly don't think your scores are anything to worry about, I just wanted to be sure you were getting the most from your Ram. I think the main thing is you have it working well now and it looks like your Motherboard is OK?

Also you didn't mention why you have HT turned off. Is there a reason for it?

    Paul.

And P.S - HT has a big effect on my Ram performance as you saw in my 2 screenshots, around 10K. Again this could be down to the fact we have different CPU's.

This 4820-E is a strange CPU.
HT and Intel Speed Step are on. They change nothing on or off.
If I remember correctly and that is hard to do with all the changes I have made but I think the highest winsat mem I got was with 16 GB installed. I have heard tell that happens sometime. Adding ram changes things. I'm very pleased with the cooling system.
The other motherboard went through bios batteries in about a week but this one is doing okay. Their must of been some sort power to ground in the motherboard or maybe the ram. I really don't know. I have extra air blowing on the motherboard VRM just to make sure things are cool.

RAM DIMMs all have a serial number, line 'em up in order and the first 4 will be a set.

Would like to have some opinions-great-winsat-mem-after-clean-up-disk.png

This is what I get after running Disk Cleanup.
I have no idea why but I LIKE the results.

So is that all you did to get the new numbers Jack? A Disk cleanup?

It certainly looks excellent now and completely in line with what I originally thought it should score.

    Thats all I did.
HT is on. I don't think much of the Winsat mem because just about anything you do to your system will change the results. Of course it varies from system to system.

It seems Ivy-E is very twitchy for lack of a better word.

I punched in your settings for the Strap, CPU and Ram speed and timings. Then it only recognized 8GB of my 16GB and I scored 14000.
I have tried a few other combinations but non seem to work well for me.
I think I will just stick with what I know works fine for me. It looks like you have yours running great now anyway.

From post #220 by Britton 30.

Your temps and voltage on CPU are very good. Why is there no label in the CPUz title bar?
I fixed it and I don't know why it fixed it.
I changed the dpi from 100% to 150%

Would like to have some opinions-dpi-change-fixed-..png
