I have all the back panel holes blocked under the rear fan.
All fans are inlets except the 3 fans at the top for the radiator.
I's kind of a wind tunnel with 5 fans blowing in and 3 at the top blowing out threw the radiator.

I think I will get some blue lights. It will take more research to find some good ones.

Use a graphics editor to reduce the size of the photos. One trick, if your graphics editor will support it, that will reduce file size without reducing the displayed size too much is to also reduce the DPI count. Display screens don't need high DPI counts. 72-96 DPI looks just as good onscreen as 300 DPI or more.

Nice rig, Jack. You did excellent work. I see you had no space problems with that case. Well done.

I did have problems getting it to boot the first time.
Asus tried to help but it was a no go.
I needed newer bios but Flash Back wouldn't work correctly.
My Intel dealer Glenn from Royal Business seen this before so he came to my house with a older style of a 2011 chip (i7-3770) and it booted. We installed the newer bios (4502) swapped cpu's back to my (i7-4820) and it booted right up. Glenn builds about a thousand computers a year for many government agency's and businesses.
    He has seen about everything.
That's is one of the reasons I buy locally from Glen. Service service and more service. His service didn't cost me a red cent. I did spend a lot of money getting all these parts.

Absolutely no space problem. If some one can't do a build with this case, well just give up. Building computers is not your thing.

Please note that the Phanteks emblem in the middle of the case is from the box the case came in. I cut it off the side of the box and installed it.

Jack the rig came out just great. I too have run into the mobo bios issue and who has older chips laying around. Always nice to have resources available. I think ASUS and others are on to something with the USB Bios Flashback feature.

What's nice about the ASUS boards is one can use one of multiple ways to update the UEFI (technically, UEFI is not a BIOS, if one wants to be anal about it; UEFI replaces BIOS) on the same MOBO. I can update my MOBO using the EZ Flash by putting a USB stick with the updated UEFI on it into the specified USB port on the rear I/O panel and pressing the EZ Flash button. The only thing the MOBO needs is the PSU fired up; one doesn't even need the RAM or CPU installed. Or one can use the EX Flash Utility in AI Suite to use a USB stick with the updated UEFI on it in any port or let the program download it directly from the internet. It's also possible to backup the existing UEFI using AI Suite. A lot of people have complained about AI Suite but I haven't had a problem with it. I suspect it's because people more familiar with BIOS than I am don't bother to RTFM. I wish, though, I had one of the newer boards that can be set up to use the reset button to directly enter the UEFI without rebooting (and if wishes were horses, we all would be shoveling sh...stables).

That is damn nice! Very clean install. Have you considered a string of RGB led's set to change color based on cpu temp?

Exceptional build, Jack. You did an excellent job. I saw the knife and was wondering if the build was so hard you were considering Hari Cari? It looks like a perfect tool for it.

I thank you all for all the nice complements and help.

The knife and the other little goodies in the picture are there to indicate this is my build and not one I found on the internet.

Notice there are no empty slots/holes in the back. I use the packaging that came with the motherboard. I don't want the air just to go any where it want to.
I also removed the filter from the top because it is an exhaust.
I remove the filter from the side panel for the power supply exhaust (Magnetic) and installed it on the rear intake fan. The rear fan blows air on the VRM and Ram.
I made a deflector for the bottom front fan, directing air to the back of the motherboard tray.
I want a positive pressure case and as much exhaust to go through the radiator as I can get. I don't think I will need any more fans. But thinking on a push/pull on the radiator. It could lower the temps another 2 or 3 C.
I still use Arctic Silver 5.

Idle temps ambient 20C. Vcore 1.456V
    @ 4.8
    21-27-28-23

    100% load temps
    @ 4.8 for 30 min.
    60-61-62-58

@ madcratebuilder I will investigate those lights. Thanks for the idea.

@ essenbe that Ram you recommended seems to be working just great.
