How much can I OC my FX 4100 w/ a Hyper 212 EVO ?
So yeah. I'd like to know ,how much could I overclock my FX 4100 with a Hyper 212 EVO.Could I reach 4,4 GHz ,at some good temps ?

I was able to hit 4.7 on an h80i with very good temps. So I would say 4.5 or 4.6 with the evo.
I would say that 4.2 GHz wouldn't be out of reach, but I would use the 2nd cooling fan option on the Hyper 212 to keeps temps down. You shouldn't push your temps at full load higher than about 50C to 55C so that you have good headroom for higher room temperatures in the summer time. Good airflow in your case is crucial as well, as is a good thermal paste.
A 600 MHz (14%) overclock is more than respectable on an air cooled rig. Remember the first rule of OCing: Don't OC what you can't afford to replace.
Good luck. :)
Mellon ,so you're telling me to use to fans on the Hyper 212 EVO ? Sounds interesting...like a push-pull configuration ?
Also, airflow isn't a problem in my case....i have 2 fans (1,000 RPM ) pushing air in my case and 1 ( 2,000 ) RPM fan pulling it out,so yeah....also,I like keeping my case open ,completely xD .Thermal paste isn't a problem either...I have Artic Silver 5 ,which is good in my opinion.
It depends on how your particular cpu binned. Some 4100's can get past 4.0 some can't. Keep your temps under 70C if you want it to live for any period of time. 55-60C is a good temp limit for longer life. You well need to add vcore, keep it under 1.5 as 1.55 is max. On air I would probably stay under 1.4 vcore.
Well,push-pull sounds pretty good, but I just read that I need 2 exact fans to do it.But,in Croatia I can't get another CM Hyper 212 EVO fan,and I don't want to wait 1 month for it to ship...can't I just remove the stock CM Hyper 212 EVO fan and replace it with another, better, fan ? Something like the Corsair Air Series AF120,COOLERMASTER JETFLO 120mm or the ENERMAX T.B. SILENCE ? I think they're really good fans, and that they're better than the fan that comes w/ the Hyper 212 EVO.
Thanks guys for helping me , I really a appreciate it :)
Push-pull will give you 1-2C degrees improvement, tops. Thing is that cooler needs a high speed fan in order to work well. I don't think you will get any improvement in temperature replacing the fan it came with with anything else, it is pretty decent.
I wouldn't worry about the cooler or fan until you see what kind of stable overclock you can get and then see what temperature you get and whether you need better cooling or not.
Thanks guys for the help. And yeah,I decided to order it on tuesday. It's gonna ship on friday,im going to install it,see my temps and probably OC my CPU from 4,0 to 4,4 / 4,5 GHz :)
