    Can anyone explain voltage's to me ?


    Hi guys :)
    So,can anyone explain me what voltages are ,and why they are important while overclocking ?

    My Hyper 212 EVO is going to ship tomorrow,and im planning to overclock my AMD FX 4100 from 4,0 GHz ( current frequency ) to 4,5-4,6 GHz.

    Any help would be amazing :)

    I would start the OC at stock voltages. Find just how high you can go and be 100% stable before you start adding voltage.

    I just installed my cooler,and it's great!
    I OC'ed my CPU from 4,0 to 4,4 GHz,and the temps are really good. At full idle ( BF4 ultra ) my CPU is about 45 ° - 50°,and my GPU is about 55°.
