    CPU fan that isnt too tall


    Hey guys, I'm looking for a new CPU fan that isn't too tall. I've looked at a few Cooler Master CPU fans and Zalman ones however I have no idea which one to get. Ideally I would like one that keeps my PC under 55 degrees at all times and one that you can change the speeds using software like SpeedFan.

    What one should I get?

    In what price range are you talking about? if you use a closed watercooling kit you wont have any issues with the height, I use a Corsair H80 with 1 Gentle Typhoon 1850 with a 5v resistor and that keeps my overclocked system at around 40c during games and 50-55c during 100% load. Noctuas latest cpu cooler (NH-U14S) beats most closed watercooling kits with lower noise, is noise a factor at all?

    I got a email yesterday that had a new low profile cpu cooler that is made to clear memory with cooling plates, I'll see if I can find it.

HDD isnt being recognised

Hello, Hope its the right forum. My HDD isnt being recognised by my computer or anyone elses. Pretty sure its a simple solution but I dont know how to go about fixing it. Here is what shows up in Disk Management. When I right click it its all greyed out.
For some reason, my start menu has suddenly become ridiculously tall, spanning the entire height of the screen. This image might give a better idea: imgur: the simple image sharer. I have no idea how or why this happened. I tried searching for the problem, but I can't find a single thing even...

Windows Seven isnt Seven?

I just learned, what you guys probably know already... Windows seven isnt NT 7.0 but 6.1 which makes it an upgrade to Vista? Whats up with that? They name it seven, but its not seventh?
