Braided Cables Help

If you have seen my recent post I am building a new computer. I was recommend braided cables and I have fell in love with some. Those being: BitFenix Essentials Pro Pack - ATX 24pin, EPS 8pin, 2x PCI-E 6pin Set - Red/Black Products Model: BFA-PROPACK1-RD-BK [BFA-PROPACK1-RD-BK] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come
My only problem is I am having a little trouble knowing which one's I actually need, do to my psu you be semi-modual. Psu being: Amazon.com: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B 80PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V/EPS12V 750W Power Supply 120-PB-0750-KR: Computers & Accessories
Only reason I ended up getting this psu was because I scored a great deal on Cyber monday for it. It will be the first thing I upgrade though. I imagine I'm going to want one of each or more?
Specs Of Computer: Intel Core i7-4930K, EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti, Corsair 750D - System Build - PCPartPicker
Thanks for the help in advance!

kingofblob,
The EVGA psu has all braided cables so you are only changing the cosmetics correct? The kit you posted is a great start and unless you plan to SLI another graphics card then you're good to go. You may want to consider the other cables that could show in you new rig like sata data cables and sata power cables to you hard drives and optical drive. As well you can replace the front panel cables with matching cables to your kit.

Make sure the new cables are made for your PSU. PSU cables are standard only at the end that connects to your components. The other end is a crap shoot. Use a wrong cable and you could wind up frying everything.

That said, I can see why you want to change cables. Why EVGA used two different colors and left so much bare wire exposed is beyond me.

Thanks for the heads up. What should I be looking for to know that they match?

The braided cables you choose should list your specific PSU as being compatible. If it doesn't, stay away from them. Even PSUs within the same brand name could use different standards at the PSU end of the cable, usually because the different PSUs in the same brand name were actually made by different companies. Corsair is notorious for doing that.

I did a little research and it turns out the braided cables I am looking at are extensions. Basically I just need to plug in the evga cables to the psu and then do a little cable management and connect the Bitfenix cables to the evga ones. From my understanding.

Extensions are usually safe.
