Oh yeah, I've been having a ball. At least I get to have some real fun this month; I have a couple of day trips scheduled with friends mostly just to get the heck out of Dodge.

Ace seems to be doing quite well in my neck of the woods. They don't have as much inventory as the home centers, like Home Despot and Lowes, but the quality is generally better and their employees are far more knowledgeable than the ones at the home centers (and are far more available).

Do let yourself down..."Time is on my side" as it said!

Meanwhile, its been nearly a entire year i have mounted my Water Custom Loop and haven't change the coolant nor the thermal paste.

I bought fresh coolant and a new tank (slight bigger) lately, and i just want to ask how regularly could the coolant be changed for an overclocked CPU (@4.4GHz) with good mid everyday use. Some says a year for average, and 6 to 12 months for good usage, 6 month to heavy use.

I think i'm at a Good Mid use.

I have noticed temps are raising, not because of summer's coming, but when in game or doing things that need CPU load, it raised few degrees.

Ps: i'll not respond till this early evening, got to go back to work now....

If your temps are rising I would suggest that cleaning the coolant and cpu thermal compound would be a good place to start.
Continue on with cleaning all radiators and fans.

Thanks for respond, I already cleaned accurately the fans and radiators last week which were dusty enough to be cleaned, Cpu Temp still raise a little.

I just don't know how much time stay the coolant in such custom build, and apart retailers recommendations, i've no clue!!.

Yes, i think i'll do that over a week-end. I might rinse the all system with pure water after draining because i'm using one with little percent kind of Ethylene Glycol but it came also with a grease for the pump + drops of biocide (that should have been disappeared since). Thermal paste remain the same, a non-conductive nano grease extreme putted at the same time was the coolant.

I think Jack was right. If temps are starting to rise, that is a sign to do it now. I don't believe there is such a thing as changing too often. But you can wait too long. So, I would think every 6-8 months would be about right.

It had been 11 months already custom loop being started, thought that was time to change coolant around this month. Used my computer quite loaded since last December that might have rinsed well the thermal components. Thanks guys, gonna do it soon!

Because you can't see the coolant in a closed loop system you must watch your cpu and ambient temps. If their are big changes the problem needs to be addressed.

On my system (My System Specs) in just a few months the coolant turned milky. I have no idea why. I wasn't using any dye at that time.
Just distilled watter and silver coils.

Because of various upgrades the coolant was change often so I have been running this coolant just a few months. I do watch the coolant to see if any changes happen to it's appearance. I monitor cpu, cpu, coolant and ambient temps. Every now and then I stick a temp sensor in the case and monitor the air temp. I'm I paranoid?
